The View host Sara Haines kicked off Friday's episode of the ABC daytime talk show with a bold statement: "It kind of pains me to say this today, but I think President Biden needs to step down and be replaced if we want to defeat Donald Trump in November."

Biden has received widespread criticism for his unorganized and spacey manner while debating Trump, 78, in Atlanta Thursday night on CNN. Meanwhile, the network claimed Trump made more than 30 false claims during the 90-minute back-and-forth.

The View host Alyssa Farah Griffin who worked with both Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence in the White House, called the debate "historically bad."

"I don't know people under 30 are going to turn out for either candidate after last night," Griffin said.

Haines clarified that she would still vote for Biden come November 5, and encouraged viewers to realize that the panel of hosts was not being ageist.

"Look, Joy Behar is 81," Haines referred to her fiery and quick-witted counterpart. "Joy Behar at 81 is not Joe Biden at 81, and that was on full display last night."

Sunny Hostin agreed with Haines' analysis but called it "ironic" that the Republican Party isn't reconsidering their presidential nominee as well.

"Their nominee [Trump] is a convicted felon. He's facing hundreds of charges for criminal activity and has been proven to be a racist, a business fraud, liable for sexual abuse, and insurrectionists, and as Biden said, he has the morals of an alley cat.

Hostin continued, "Republicans need to be holding him accountable. The majority of the party, which has been cowardly and feckless and complicit and enabling and allowing Trump's racism, bullying, his democracy, misogyny."

Instead, the former federal prosecutor suggested Vice President Kamala Harris, 59, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, 53, U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, 42, and California Governor Gavin Newsom, 56, are all " ready" to run for president.

The View co-host Ana Navarro passionately declared she's "not giving up" on Biden even after Thursday's "worrisome" debate performance.

"It is a very old man versus a very bad man - one who speaks with a weak voice but tells me the truth in a weak, elderly voice, and [then there's] a man who lies with impunity."

Navarro added, "He [Trump] is a machine gun of lies, and he does it with a stronger voice."

Behar then claimed the nation is in an" emergency situation" with the two presidential candidates, but urged viewers to remember the issues at stake.

"What is on the line? Nothing less than the democracy we've enjoyed all these years," she passionately spoke. "Nothing less than women's rights to tell you what their body should do, not some politician who thinks that a fallopian tube is a way to get to New Jersey."

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. EST on ABC.
